After a very difficult week for Pearl, Guinness, myself and my son we have managed to keep all the Fragrances and the Flowers at good weights with all four of us taking turns feeding the kittens (myself and my son of course opted for syringe feeding rather than teat feeding). This is a so pleasing as poor Guinness has been so poorly with mastitis and Pearl was really struggling to feed ten kittens all on her own. Guinness is starting to feel much better but in the last few days she has completely lost all her milk. For this reason I have started to wean all ten kittens very early and I am pleased to say that all ten kittens are taking the baby rice/milk formula mix very well, so much so that I will be introducing them to minced chicken breast before the end of the week! The photo shoot for all ten kittens was not an easy one this week as all the kittens decided they would much prefer to sleep, suckle or generally just not cooperate! I can only imagine the fun we are going to have taking photos over the next ten weeks!
